I’ve always been into computing since I got hooked on Crystal Caves in the early 90s; I started designing my first websites on GeoCities in 1999 and haven’t looked back. Things have moved on a bit since…

Custom Creative was established in 2007 and is based in Norfolk, but serving clients nationally and internationally.
My primary role is as Technical Director or Helpful Digital and Social Simulator where we specialise in delivering digital communications training, wargaming, and crisis preparedness to some of the biggest brands around the world. Before that I was lead developer for Medical Research Council (MRC) in the Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge where I provided development and support for the WordPress sites of MRC units around the world. However I still provide some services to small businesses and charities in my spare time.

Navigating uncertainty

One of the main services I provide if advising on projects and proposals. Particularly if you represent a not-for-profit, I give free advice and spec reviews for your web projects. It can be hard to purchase services when you’re not a specialist and I’m happy to lend an impartial eye to help you find the best provider and make sure what they’re offering matches your needs.
